Making snooker and pool cues is my obsession! I love cue sports and love exotic wood even more! It is my pleasure and pride to make beautiful pieces of art that enable a player to better their game.
My cues are all made fully by hand using traditional cue making techniques, they currently take 24 months to produce. Cue shafts are made from only high quality kiln dried, fully seasoned hardwoods.

Classic Cue

The David Bowen Classic cue has full length hand spliced ebony and can be made with a single facing splice of exotic wood. Gabon ebony, Macassar ebony and striped Asian ebony are available. Any configuration of woods can be used assuming that they are suitable for the required balance and weight. Please call me if you would like any advice or to create a custom designed Classic cue.

The David Bowen Aristocrat cue has full length hand spliced exotic wood with a 4 lower splices of exotic hardwood. Any configuration of woods can be used assuming that they are suitable in suitable lengths for the required design, balance and weight. The David Bowen Invictus cue is a hand made shaft from seasoned hardwood, full length hand spliced AAA grade Gabon ebony, 4 lower splices of exotic hardwood contrasting exotic hardwood and then a further 4 lower splices of Gabon ebony. Any exotic hardwood can be used for the contrasting middle splices assuming that they are available in suitable lengths for the required design, balance and weight. The David Bowen Chimera cue range is a custom handmade laminate shaft produced from high quality seasoned hardwoods. The Chimera shaft is produced from seasoned Canadian hard maple and English walnut, greatly reducing both throw and deflection. Above are examples of my cue designs, however all of my cues are custom designed and made to your exact specification with your choice of wood for the shaft and hand spliced wood combination for the butt. Cue extensions and custom made leather cue cases are also available.
