Alchemy Cue – BK Design

Description

The David Bowen Alchemy Cue (BK Design) is made by hand with the highest grade seasoned hardwood shaft and exhibition grade exotic hardwoods for the block-work lower splices. The custom block-work made from high grade exotic hardwood, all of the wood is sourced for each cue and constructed on site by David Bowen for each individual cue.

All shaft woods are available for the Alchemy cue, including American ash, English ash, Canadian hard maple and Pear wood. If you are unsure on that shaft to purchase you can call find out more on the cue shaft information page.

The chosen wood for the shaft is 9-month kiln dried and then left to rest for a minimum of 12 months to ensure that the wood is fully seasoned before the work starts on the shaft. The timber is then selected for each order and taken down in several stages over a period of 12-18 months, the shaft is then ready for the exotic hardwood and blockwork splices.

The Alchemy cue badge now reads, “Handmade by DAVID BOWEN – ALCHEMY No. xxx”.
